RESOURCE HUB: 

Located in the Yemassee Crafts Center is open from 9:00 am-3:00 pm weekdays. The Resource Hub contains a broad range of information and resources available in the greater community. The Resource Hub services are free to all Sun City residents and their families.

 

 

MEMBER SERVICES

Monday through Friday from 9-5.

 

Home Visits:

• Companionship Visits will provide social home visits to Members.

 

• Caregiver Relief Visits will provide in home companionship so caregivers have an opportunity to have a break.

 

Transportation:

• Medical transportation to provide visits to doctors, dentists and medical therapy as well as trips to pharmacies, and spousal visits to hospitals and rehabilitation centers.Transportation is available locally and to Savannah, Beaufort, Hilton Head and Charleston based on Volunteer availability.   

 

• Grocery transportation can include assistance with shopping and bringing groceries into the home.

 

Reassuring Calls:

• A phone call will provide a friendly voice from a volunteer as a wellness check. Calls will be made from The Resource Hub between 9-10 a.m. Monday-Friday.

 

Home Maintenance: 

• Basic Home Maintenance will include replacing items such as batteries, light bulbs and air filters. Members will be responsible for cost of supplies.
